Corporate Environments welcomes John Moores as Director of Business Development. In this capacity, Moores focuses on solving today’s complex interior architecture challenges with tomorrow’s creative design solutions within commercial office environments.

“John’s passion is solving complex design challenges and finding creative architectural responses. Working closely with clients on a common goal, John strives to enhance every experience through provocative design, always challenging the status quo, questioning perceptions, and fostering new perspectives,” said Jay Weiland, President of Corporate Environments. “With expertise in both architecture and interiors, John manages large architectural projects from commercial office and mixed-use environments across multiple teams, delivering design at the highest level.”

From the impact at street level, to the feel of a bar top, Moores engages on all scales of every project, always focusing on highlighting the client’s vision, bridging design experimentation and curiosity while balancing functionality and cost.

A client-driven, delivery-focused professional, Moores has 20 years of industry experience at such notable design firms as The Johnson Studio, NELSON and Gensler.

John Moores is an active participant in the Urban Land Institute (ULI) as the ULI Center for Leadership Day Chair. He participates in the ULI & REGA Mentor Mentee Program, and teaches IIDA NCIDQ Prep courses. Moores holds a master’s degree in architecture from Georgia Tech and a B.A. in architecture from Roger Williams University.

A resident of Atlanta, Moores resides intown just off the city’s East Side Trail and has fun walking the BeltLine and exploring the area. He also loves to check out the best hidden haunts in and around Atlanta with his wife, daughter and boxer Lola.
