Marvelle by Heatherland Homes Wins Community of the Year – Detached

Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Heatherland Homes for winning Detached Community of the Year for Marvelle located in Marietta. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards awarded to new home builders and developers in the Atlanta new home construction industry.

Reminiscent of Charleston homes, Marvelle features a mix of new single-family and townhouse styles across 99 homesites. The community reflects a relaxed coastal-chic style with plenty of porches, rear-entry garages and a dog park that promotes neighborly socializing.

Open floor plans with 1,908 to 2,576 square feet of living space feature high-end interior finishes such as hardwood floors on the main level, tiled showers and baths, 2-inch window blinds and designer kitchens with granite countertops. Individual designs can accommodate two-story foyers, basements with bonus areas, kitchen islands and covered front porches and owner’s suites with sitting areas and his-and-hers granite vanities.

Adding to the interior charm is the community’s quaint streetscape with fully sodded and landscaped front yards edged by sidewalks. Marvelle also offers convenience to major work centers in Cobb County including Dobbins Air Reserve Base, the Kennestone Hospital medical complex and government offices on the Marietta square, just over a mile from residents’ front doors.

The historic Marietta square, with its charming fountain, gazebo and concert stage, is the heart of this community. It’s the setting for the annual Taste of Marietta food fest and a range of activities for all ages throughout the year. Dine and shop at unique places around the square and at the new Marietta Square Market, a refurbished warehouse that now boasts an array of casual dining and dessert options. A variety of live performances fill the Strand Theatre and the Theatre in the Square, while there’s always an open mic at Johnnie MacCracken’s Irish pub, housed in an old fire station.

When it’s time to say, “Play ball!” head to Truist Park for a dog and a cold one. The deluxe Major League stadium is also a musical venue that’s welcomed the likes of Billy Joel and Def Leppard. Adjacent to the field is The Battery Atlanta, a collection of upscale shops and dining destinations created by some of the area’s top chefs. Additionally, stars of music, drama, dance, comedy and opera head to the nearby Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.

Driving through Marvelle, the coastal chic theme is apparent through the visual welcome of pastel-colored exteriors, porches for outdoor living and rear-entry garages. Marvelle truly extends a variety of homebuyers the opportunity to find the right floor plan and home for their lifestyle needs, from a townhome to a single-family design.

Townhomes start from the high $200,000s and single-family homes start from the $300,000s, unmatched for this sought-after Marietta location. Marvelle has answered the call to provide quality constructed homes, a variety of luxury options and open, flexible floor plans within minutes of the downtown Marietta square. The growth and demand for this Marietta location shows how many homebuyers and homeowners want to move to this location. Marvelle is excited to be part of the growth and development in Marietta and proud to offer a variety of floor plans to fit various family lifestyle needs.
