Founded in 2000 in Scottsdale, Arizona by a husband and wife team, the company has been thriving for almost two decades. In 2010, the couple decided to franchise, expanding to 29 separate states with almost 20,000 agents. Currently, the fastest-growing franchise in real estate space in the country, the franchise expanded to Georgia and nearly doubled in only a year. The projected growth is expected to continue and expand to all 50 states by the end of next year.
Paul McParland is in charge of training all the real estate agents that come through the company. All the training is facilitated through the brand-new learning center that just opened up this year. This high-tech facility is also where the company offers free CE classes to Realtors, regardless of their affiliation. Realtors from all over, including Keller Williams and Berkshire Hathaway, attend these classes offered by HomeSmart Realty Partners.
“It’s very important to train and educate our agents,” Musto said. “It’s not just get a license and know how to do real estate. It’s critical and a huge part of our model. It includes the back-end training that we do.”
