Atlanta’s Best New Homes Show recently met with Nichole Allison, Sales Manager of New American Funding. Nichole joined the show to discuss her strong charity initiative within the company.
New American Funding is involved with multiple charities and sponsors various events throughout the year to help the communities where their clients live. During this holiday season, their main charitable focus is with Toys for Tots.
Toys for Tots is a nonprofit organization run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve that aims to distribute toys to underprivileged children during the Christmas season. Since 1947, over 566 million toys have been donated and over 258 million children have been supported through the efforts of Toys for Tots.
During this time of year, everyone at New American Funding donates at least one toy to help support the cause. The company works to bring in as many toys as possible to help the children in their community and to ensure every child receives a toy under the tree on Christmas.
“Obviously providing mortgages is our job, but he passion behind that for all of us here is really creating homeownership and what that does for communities,” said Nichole. “We know communities with higher homeownership rates have lower crime, better school districts and also creates an environment for people to thrive.”
New American Funding is looking to make 2019 their biggest donation year yet. To help with their efforts, they are offering a free appraisal for all clients who bring a donation for Toys for Tots to any of their mini metro-Atlanta branches. Each appraisal is equivalent to up to $500 off total closing costs.
