SUP Creative Group invites area animal lovers to its 2nd Annual Walk & Roll for Rescue on Sunday, October 6, 2019, at Waggy World Paws Park inside Wills Park. Fun for the entire family, including your pet, this free charity event celebrates Good Mews Pet Foundation, Wags & Wiggles Dog Rescue and Dirt Road Doggies Rescue.
The festivities last from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a Lure Course and Frisbee Challenge at 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m., a scheduled walk with pets at noon and a pet influencer met-up at 1 p.m.
Come interview the rescues, meet interesting vendors and watch the lure course racing and frisbee challenge, but the big story of the day is how four Georgia Pet Influencers (dogs) are the new wave of marketing for the corporate world!
Come interview Dunkin the Frenchie (who has over 24,000 Instagram Followers), Sparkles the Diva (who has over 50,000 Instagram Followers) and Philomena the Pug (who has over 70,000 Instagram Followers). Good Mews is one of the few virtually cage-free, no-kill cat shelters in the state of Georgia and the first in the metro Atlanta area. Dirt Road Doggie Rescue is a small canine rescue group located in Northeast Georgia that works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, fully vet, and rehome faithful dogs that have been tossed out of cars onto rural roads. It is a registered, 501c3 tax-deductible Non-Profit Rescue licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture.
