Today on Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio’s episode of All About Real Estate showcases a builder who has never been on the show but is a well-known name in the Atlanta home building industry and continues to successfully cater to the needs of today’s home buyers. Eric Drooker, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Chafin Communities, joins co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick to update listeners on the builder’s activities.
Chafin Communities’ founder, Eric Chafin, began his career with a construction company when he was in his teenage years. Working for the superintendent, he would ride in the back of the super’s pickup truck and sweep out homes. He became a superintendent several years later and began Chafin Communities in 1996, joined by his brother Daryl a few years later. Their experience gives them a unique perspective of building a home from the ground up.

The builder often has incentives on a Home of the Week and incentives range anywhere from $3,500 to $30,000 bonuses. Realtors can earn a one percent bonus on the Home of the Week.
