Intown Renovations custom addition

Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Intown Renovations for winning a Gold OBIE in the Whole-House Renovation $250,000 to $500,000 category. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.

This project was a major interior renovation with a second story addition that incorporates a balcony off the master suite, new light fixtures, custom cabinetry and custom interior doors. Cornice, trim and stucco were matched with the existing house to create a seamless blend of old and new house structure, both inside and out, with the original home. The addition added over 1,400 square feet to the existing home, and it included a master suite, master bath, master closet, exterior balcony, laundry room, two new bedrooms with a Jack-and-Jill bath and a new staircase and foyer connecting the existing lower level to the second story addition.

This home won an OBIE because of the integration of the addition to the original house, which is seamless, including the matching of clay roof tiles and stucco to the exterior. Interior Spanish archways were refreshed with new paint to match and complimented by handcrafted interior doors. Shiplap warms both the master bath and hall bath, while custom wallpaper was added to the fireplace wall in the family room to accentuate the parquet flooring and transform it into the focal point of the room.
