Peggy Still Johnson, executive director at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in Atlanta, joins the Atlanta Real Estate Radio show for the Around Atlanta edition to discuss tonight’s Holiday Gala, Christmas at Callanwolde and more with co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick.
Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is owned and operated by the Callanwolde Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Christmas at Callanwolde, considered an Atlanta tradition for 40+ years, features an annual Holiday Gala, designer show house and for the first time, a light show presented by Illuminating Design.
The Callanwolde Holiday Gala kicks off the holiday season at Callanwolde Thursday, December 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. and will feature the Atlanta Pops Orchestra, John Driskell Hopkins of Zac Brown Band, Michelle Malone and The Vaudevillains. Dress is holiday cocktail. Food, beverage and open wine/beer bar are included with the purchase of a $100 ticket and valet parking is onsite. Callanwolde will also be collecting new, unwrapped toys on behalf of Toys for Tots.
For those unable to attend tonight’s affair, Christmas at Callanwolde offers a variety of opportunities to celebrate the holiday season with daily events that include, tours of the 27,000-square-foot historic Candler Mansion decorated by professional interior and floral designers, family activities, live entertainment, holiday shopping and more.
The newest addition to Christmas at Callanwolde is the Light Show Presented by Illuminating Design, a spectacular, interactive outdoor light tour experience. Bring the family to experience the magic of this stunning light demonstration throughout the beautiful Callanwolde estate.
