For a weekend of music, friends and fun, be sure to attend the Raccoon Creek Bluegrass Festival! Taking place July 8 and 9 in Dallas, Georgia, this event promises to keep the sweet sounds strumming through rain or shine. In its 43rd year, Raccoon Creek Music Park continues to strive to bring an enjoyable experience for fans of bluegrass music everywhere.

The festival will feature a wide range of bluegrass artists and musicians from all over. July 8 will hear the performances of Taylor Sosebee, Bullsboro, 501 Central, Barbwire Bluegrass and Old Mill Road Band. July 9 will entertain guests with Taylor Sosebee, Barbwire Bluegrass, 501 Central, Gospel Plowboys, Old Mill Road Band, Breaking Grass, Heartfelt and finish off with Frances Mooney and Fontanna Sunset. Please note that the bands and schedule are both subject to change.

This fun event will run from 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. on July 8 and from 1:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. on July 9. Tickets for the first day will be $10 and on the second day will be $20. Guests can purchase a ticket for the whole weekend at a price of $25. Tickets can be purchased at the gate and children 12 and under are admitted for free.

Raccoon Creek Music Park has continued to upgrade its facilities over the years to maximize the bluegrass experience for its guests. These comforts include increased parking, restroom facilities, a playground for kids and a limited number of camper hookups for the most dedicated fans. Guests are also welcomed to enjoy the concessions which serve the best BBQ from the area.

The Raccoon Creek Bluegrass Festival is the best venue around for bluegrass fans of all ages. This year’s festival features some of the best bluegrass performers around, and guests will surely find themselves dancing along to the music.
