Ron Colligan, a real estate investment broker at PalmerHouse Properties, as well as Randi Krasnoff, senior mortgage loan consultant with American Eagle Mortgage, joins host Todd Schnick and co host Carol Morgan on the All About Real Estate edition of Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio. Today, they discuss the best way to create wealth and investing in single-family homes
Colligan has been in real estate since 1988, starting with resale, new home sales and now he has settled into investment properties and is helping people take advantage of the tax benefits. Krasnoff adds how American Eagle Mortgage is all about the client, treating people not as a number but as a person and getting them into the home of their dreams. The secret to creating wealth in single-family homes is hard work. The key is finding the right product for the best price and having the best people to help you along the way. Dealing with professionals is the best route to go. A lot of time they don’t cost you money but in return save you money when choosing out of all the available single-family homes.
One of the benefits of working with a professional such as Krasnoff from American Eagle Mortgage is they have programs that only make you put 20% down for your investment property where as most places, you may end up having to put down 25%. Krasnoff says that even though investors don’t have 20% down to be an investor doesn’t mean that you cannot be an investor. You can always have more than one person going into your loan and divide up the down payment.
