The Atlanta Film Society (ATLFS) is proud to present their chief annual event: the Atlanta Film Festival from April 1 to April 10. The 10-day affair is celebrating its 40-year history as one of only two dozen Academy Award-qualifying events in the nation.

The festival showcases over 200 films to nearly 25,000 attendees. The competition is fierce as Atlanta Film Festival receives nearly 5,000 submissions from 120 countries from across the globe every year! The experience has even been dubbed as the Best Film Festival by many publications such as Creative Loafing and Atlanta Magazine. Additionally, celebrities tend to make appearances throughout the festivities such as James Franco, Abigail Spencer, Jeff Foxworthy, Chris Tucker and Ludacris to name a few.

ATLFS is one of the oldest and largest organizations in the United States committed to film promotion and education.
