Tim Trumble, online operations and media coordinator for the National Assistance Corporation of America (NACA), joins hosts Todd Schnick and Bryan Nonni on today’s All About Real Estate edition of the Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio show.
Trumble has been with the National Assistance Corporation of America for a little over six years now. Joining the NACA team at the peak of the mortgage crisis, Trumble was a counselor with NACA traveling around the country doing massive events in many cities across America. With the goal of helping people struggling with unaffordable mortgages, Trumble “started at the organization at a somewhat adventurous time, and made my way over to the media side due to my own background in the broadcasting industry.”
NACA is the nation’s largest HUD–certified non-profit organization. At 27 years old, NACA is a community advocacy and home ownership organization providing homeowners mortgage assistance all across the country. Corporately based in Boston, the organization has offices in states such as California, New York, Florida, Texas, Georgia and many more.
NACA has two key programs: The Home Save Program and Purchase Program. The Home Save Program helps homeowners, who are facing hardships such as decreased income or deaths in the family, make their mortgage payments and keep their homes. The Purchase Program was created in conjunction with Bank of America and Citi Mortgage. “We’re very proud of the Purchase Program,” explained Trumble. “We offer what we call America’s Best Mortgage.”
Mostly working with mid to low-income households, NACA helps people buy a home with fair and affordable fixed-rate mortgages.
