Traton Homes and Cobb Chritsmas Stuff a Bus Event

This month, Traton Homes partnered with Cobb Christmas to spread the yuletide spirit to those in need! Raising close to $24,000 in donations, the 17th annual “Stuff a Bus” event was one for the books. The award-winning homebuilder successfully filled a Cobb Community Transit Bus with thousands of toys to help local families this holiday season.

“We are overjoyed to have raised nearly $24,000 to purchase toys for families in need this holiday season. Our company is based in Cobb County, and it is an honor to be a part of this event year after year,” said Kimberly Garwood, Director of Marketing for Traton Homes. “A huge thank you to our wonderful employees, generous vendors and the caring local community for making this year’s toy drive such a huge success.”

Four drop-off locations, including the Traton Homes corporate office, Haven at Stanley, High Parc at Smyrna and Tapp, gathered toys and donations for the “Stuff a Bus” event. In addition to the ample number of toys collected at the various drop-off locations, Traton Homes gathered donations from its incredible employees and vendors.

Cobb Christmas is a non-denominational, non-profit organization focused on serving low-income, underprivileged Cobb County families during the holiday season. With the donations from Traton Homes and many others and the help of hundreds of volunteers, Cobb Christmas provides children ages three to 13 with three new age-appropriate toys! The organization distributed donations on December 13 through 15 at IAM Local Lodge 709 in Marietta. For additional information on Cobb Christmas, visit www.CobbChristmas.net.
