Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Handcrafted Homes, Inc. for winning a Gold OBIE in the $75,000 and Over – Basement category for a home on West Wieuca Road in Atlanta. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.

This basement renovation shows that creativity and function can be united to create a space that is fun and exciting. The main objective of this renovation was to open up the space through architectural elements. Columns took the place of removed walls and a television was suspended between to open the media room to the bar and game room. The space under the staircase and storage room was transformed into a wine cellar and a curved bar top allows for walkways on either side.

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s OBIE Awards celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2015.
