1065 Midtown Luxury Condominiums are featured on today’s All About Real Estate edition of Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio. Christa Huffstickler, director of sales with 1065 Midtown, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the NeoLuxe Realty Group with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty, sat down with our hosts to give us some background on the development, and why the condo market in Atlanta is experiencing a jolt in sales.

The development sits atop The Lowes Atlanta Hotel and is an impressive collection of expertly designed and beautifully styled homes. The space was originally acquired in 2010 at a time that was not ideal for the market. After functioning as a luxury rental for five years, the asset was recently converted into these beautiful condominiums.

According to Christa, because the Atlanta condominium market has not had any new inventory for almost the past 10 years, there has been a boom in condominium construction and developments like 1065 have been extremely popular. Providing top-of-the-line amenities like 24-hour concierge service, on-site dry cleaning, valet car detailing and skyline views, the community sold seven condominiums in its first month. Christa notes that the typical buyers for condominiums like those at 1065 are younger buyers looking for the hipper, more urban lifestyle and those home buyers looking to downsize their living situation while living closer to town or intown.

Condominium living can truly spoil those who partake in it. At 1065, residents have access to all of the amenities of the Lowes Atlanta hotel and can charge any of the hotel services, including room service, to their “room.” For owners that do not want to interface with the hotel component of their living situation, there is a completely separate entrance so you never have to encounter the hotel if you choose. Being located downtown is also a selling point for 1065 because of the many conveniences of in-town living. Residents will enjoy having Piedmont Park as their backyard and having easy access to the numerous events and festivals that take place in downtown Atlanta. Hundreds of walkable shops, restaurants and other interesting places are conveniently located as well.

1065 currently offers five different variations of their two and three bedroom floor plans. There are five or less homes per floor and two bedroom floor plans range in size from 2,000 to 2,300 square feet. Three bedroom floor plans range from 2,300 to 2,900 square feet. There are also one-bedroom options available from 1,200 square feet. Homes feature luxurious details like open and light-filled floor plans with skyline views, hand scraped Brazilian oak flooring, Thermador appliances, 12-foot ceilings in all of the homes and Victoria & Albert soaking tubs.

One-bedroom homes are priced from the $500,000s, two bedroom homes are priced from the $900,000s, and three bedroom homes are priced from $1.2 million.
