Jennifer Crosby with Crosby Design Group is this week’s guest on Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio. Jennifer shares information on the world of interior design, and her interview is followed by a discussion with Lisa Anders of Explore Gwinnett.

Jennifer Crosby is the president and CEO of Crosby Design Group. After receiving her degree from the Art Institute of Atlanta, Jennifer founded her company, which works with builders, homeowners and commercial or multi-family developments, in 2000.

It’s now October, which means many homeowners are busy preparing their homes for the holiday season. If you’re looking to change up your home on a budget, Jennifer’s number one tip is to try a new coat of paint. Whether you’re going for the greys that seem to be more dominant these days or warmer colors, a fresh coat of paint can give any room a new perspective. A couple of other tips for quick room refreshers are to choose one or two key pieces that will be the focus of the room and to search local thrift stores for items you can repurpose. Plus, don’t forget to visit Houzz for some home design eye candy to inspire you.

Explore Gwinnett is Gwinnett’s destination marketing arm staffed with both sales people who work to bring in conventions, meetings, family reunions, sporting events, etc. and employees who partner with the downtown cities, local sports teams, local attractions, etc. These days, many families are choosing to visit and live in Gwinnett due to its proximity to Stone Mountain, Lake Lanier, Chateau Elan and Atlanta; its affordable family value and its safe environment.
