Beau will make this year’s weather prediction on Saturday, February 2, 2013 just before 8 a.m. while his fans and supporters watch. Admission to see Beau’s predication first-hand will be FREE between 7 to 7:30 a.m.

35th Annual Groundhog Day Jugglers FestivalA fun-filled day of jugglers, unicyclists, live music and more await your family at this year’s Groundhog Day Jugglers Festival. This festival lasts all weekend long, from Friday, February 1 to Sunday, February 3. However, Saturday, February 2 is the main event of this festival, as activities such as free juggling lessons and shows are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. This festival will be held at the Yaarab Shrine Center Recreation Building in Atlanta.

Bear Hollow Zoo – Located in Athens-Clarke County, the Bear Hollow Zoo will hold their FREE annual Groundhog Day celebration on Saturday, February 2 from 10 a.m. to noon. This family event will have crafts, refreshments, stories and a weather prediction by ‘Gus the Woodchuck.’ The event will also serve as an aluminum can drive for the zoo’s Cans for Critters program.
