Coldwell Banker recently worked with psychotherapist Dr. Robbi Ludwig to further understand why homeownership is still so  important to the American consumer. She stated “Americans want to own, have a despite to put down roots and become a viable part of a community.” In a survey conducted by Coldwell Banker asking the same question, 78% of the  2,000 American respondents stated  that owning a home is one of their greatest achievements.
