The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) recently hosted its Annual Installation and Awards Ceremony at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. During the ceremony, Jim Chapman was presented with the 2022 Spike Club Award!
Membership is the heartbeat of the GAHBA, which makes recruiting new members to the local HBA crucial in growing the association. Referred to as “spikes,” Individuals who consistently take part in recruitment efforts are among the most valued members of the association. Adding great stability and growth, member-to-member retention and recruitment efforts are highly valued in GAHBA. The Spike Award is received by the member who holds the highest record number of recruited members throughout the previous calendar year.
Through his impressive efforts in recruiting his vendors and subcontractors to join the HBA in 2022, Chapman set the standard for the membership drive competition. Not only did Chapman recruit an incredible number of members himself, but he also rallied and encouraged other members to participate in the membership recruitment drive. In 2022, Chapman recruited a total of 24 new members and led a membership drive that produced close to a hundred new members!
