King's Ridge Christian School

King’s Ridge Christian School is proud to announce the purchase of the final two pieces of contiguous property to the school campus in Alpharetta. This includes the former Roadrunner baseball complex on Cogburn Road, as well as an additional two acres. Collectively, this adds 19.5 acres to the overall campus, expanding King’s Ridge’s footprint to more than 90 acres.

“We are excited about the purchase of this land and the incredible opportunities it provides to our student athletes,” said Dr. Jeff Williams, Head of School. “The acquisition is a key part of our recently launched $9.6 million Be Bold capital campaign which enables us to expand the current onsite athletic facilities, allowing all of our athletes to have access to top-notch resources right here on campus.”

The new land will be used to add varsity softball and middle school baseball fields, a new stadium and varsity baseball field, six tennis courts, a new soccer field with state-of-the-art turf and a cross-country course. Having these facilities onsite will prevent the student athletes from having to travel to other local courts and fields in the community rented for practice and events.

The acquisition of this land is part of the current $9.6 million Be Bold capital campaign. In addition to the purchase of the land, the Be Bold campaign includes funds to add a third floor to the Upper School Wing, adding nine additional classrooms for students in grades 9 through 12. The campaign funds are also designed for use in redesigning the campus master plan to include the middle school and fine arts facility. Finally, the capital campaign covers operational deficits for the current school year, as well as next year.

To date, the Be Bold capital campaign has raised $X million of the $9.6 million goal. The public phase of giving is open now through March 26, 2022. For more information about the Be Bold capital campaign or to give, visit www.KingsRidgeCS.org/giving.
