new Atlanta condominiums starting from the $390,000s

The wait for the top 25 Atlanta homebuilders is over! We have run the numbers courtesy of MarketNsight and the results are compiled. Atlanta home builders included in the list are ranked by percentage of market share for the number of homes closed in 2020 in the metro Atlanta real estate market.

In 2020, D. R. Horton Inc. topped the list with 11.7% market share and an average closed price per home of $280,000. Tied for second with 5.4% market share each are Lennar Atlanta (combined with CalAtlantic Homes Inc.) and Century Communities of Georgia (Century’s number also includes homes closed by Century Complete). Coming in at number 3 is Pulte Homes, followed by Ashton Woods and Starlight Homes at number 4.  It is interesting to note that all of the top 5 homebuilders are large national builders with the exception of Smith Douglas Homes. Other large privately held building companies on the list are Rocklyn Homes Inc., Silverstone Residential, Liberty Communities and Trademark Quality Homes.

Several Atlanta Real Estate Forum participants are included in this year’s Top 25 Atlanta homebuilders and we are pleased to congratulate them on their accomplishments!
