Around the country, labor shortages have escalated with the sales of new homes up. According to Realtor Magazine, 46 percent of builders part of the National Association of Home Builders report project delays because of the shortage. In order to avoid this and keep providing quality ranch homes, the Atlanta active adult builder Windsong Properties hires the best.
Recently, the builder hired a new purchasing manager. With 22 years of home building experience, Jeff Shaw is a great asset to the team.
After graduating from Southern Tech with a bachelor’s degree in building construction, Jeff worked as a licensed residential and light commercial contractor. He has worked for multiple home builders, including Colony Homes, Forrest Homes, Choice Homes, Sharp Residential and Parker and Son General Contracting. His positions ranged from estimator, builder, area manager and project manager to vice president of purchasing and estimating.
“With experience gained from being in the field, Jeff was the perfect choice for us,” explained Carrie Roeger, operations manager for Windsong Properties. “Not only does he understand the importance of the right contractors and materials from a purchasing standpoint, he also understands it from a field supervisor point of view. This helps us continue to provide the quality homes Windsong is known for.”
Additionally, Jeff develops and maintains win/win relationships with the best contractors and suppliers to provide the best value to Windsong’s Atlanta real estate customers. In order to help the company stay up-to-date on the latest building, he also researches new technologies and products.
A resident of Canton, Jeff is married with two children. His hobbies include watching his kids play sports, fishing and hunting.
