To celebrate its ninth anniversary, Windsong Properties hosted a luncheon for its vendors and staff at the clubhouse at Windsong at Seven Hills, an award-winning active adult community in Dallas, Ga. Guests were asked to bring donations for MUST Ministries, a local nonprofit organization committed to those in need.
“Each year, Windsong supports a local organization as a way to say thank you to our community,” stated Steve Romeyn, managing partner of Windsong Properties. “We decided to work with MUST again because we knew their need was high. We were able to collect a wide assortment of canned foods and grocery gift cards.”
MUST Ministries has locations in Cherokee and Cobb Counties. Susan Filiberto, a representative from MUST, explained that the organization offers education and employment services and runs Elizabeth Inn, an emergency shelter with a community kitchen. Lunch is prepared daily for those in need. As of September, the organization had prepared over 7,000 meals.
In addition to learning about MUST, guests were treated to delicious southern cuisine from Slope’s BBQ and a celebratory cake. Romeyn took time to thank Windsong’s vendors and staff, who are an integral part of the builder’s success.
After the luncheon, guests were able to tour the community’s gorgeous model homes. Windsong at Seven Hills offers maintenance-free living with five distinctive courtyard home designs that are priced from the $190,000s. Homes feature wide front porches, gourmet kitchens with granite countertops and GE appliances, optional terrace levels, great rooms with fireplaces, large master suites and spacious courtyards.
Windsong at Seven Hills is just a half-hour drive to Downtown Atlanta and 45 minutes from both the North Georgia Mountains and Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
