When given the choice between a new home and a resale home, most people will pick buying a new home. There’s just something buyers like about purchasing a brand new home.

When you think about it, buying new makes a great deal of sense. A new home is something completely and totally yours. No one else has ever lived in that house except for you.  All of the memories made in that home will only be yours and your families.

A new home will be low maintenance with new appliances, heating and air and plumbing so they should be repair free for at least several years. New appliances are usually more energy efficient, helping to cut down on utility costs and will be better for the environment.

A new home will also feature a more contemporary design. Features like an open concept floor plan, walk-in closets and a large master bathroom can all be found in a brand new home.
