There is a new real estate publication in Atlanta, and we are thrilled! A hearty welcome to the Atlanta real estate scene to Urbanize Atlanta! With Josh Green on board as Editor, this online publication is sure to be a success. Urbanize Atlanta is “where anyone passionate about Atlanta’s urban planning, architecture, transportation and commercial real estate plays.”

Filling the void created when Curbed Atlanta left the market last April, Urbanize Atlanta has the goal of “chronicling the commercial real estate development and urban planning decisions that impact all our lives, for better or worse.” Urbanize Media LLC, the publisher of Urbanize LA, is behind the new Atlanta affiliate with several other city sites scheduled to launch soon.

“These sites are born from a passion for cities and how they evolve through urban planning,” Green said.

One of Atlanta’s favorite real estate writers, Green is known for his colorful and unique approach to writing (sometimes described as sassy or salty, but incredibly well-loved and well-followed). He is also masterful behind a camera and typically, his stories are accompanied by his stunning photography.

Green’s impressive resume of past publications includes Atlanta magazine, Garden & Gun, Indianapolis Monthly, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Los Angeles Review, The Baltimore Review, Ascent, The Indianapolis Star, Creative Loafing Atlanta and, of course, everyone’s favorite site for homebuilding news – Atlanta Real Estate Forum.

The Atlanta residential real estate market is thriving, and commercial real estate is sure to rebound as people get vaccinated and return to offices and restaurants.
