Cobb County homesAt the Women’s Council of REALTORS meeting at MUST Ministries in Marietta, Traton Homes and a panel of other top Cobb County home builders got to share exciting news with the group—2013 is a great year for real estate!

In addition to Milburn Poston, co-founder of Traton Homes, the panel consisted of representatives from Edward Andrews Homes, Stonecrest, Azalea Homes, Lennar Atlanta, Smith Douglas, Piedmont Residential and About Sales, Inc.

Poston told the group that one reason the new home market is improving is because there are not enough re-sale homes. Many are looking to buy their first homes or move-up and turn to new construction. Additionally, buyers like purchasing new homes because of quality, great warranties and spectacular features.

In regards to home features, the panel agreed overwhelmingly that Traton is a trendsetter. Traton Homes uses fresh paint colors and offers an array of gorgeous standard features.

Josh Hilscher, vice president of sales and marketing, sat in the audience and explained how buyers were spending more money on kitchens compared to other rooms. Also, he said that the current market is accustomed to good, standard features. For instance, items such as granite countertops are now standard instead of upgrades.

After the panel was over, the REALTORS in attendance were excited about the rest of 2013. Traton Homes is too and plans to sell even more luxury Atlanta homes than last year. To learn more about Traton’s new home opportunities, visit
