Commercial Construction: Winding Waters RV Resort
Womack Commercial has completed two significant additions to Winding Waters RV Resort, a luxury outdoor destination in Emerson. The team built a clubhouse and poolside cabana, which perfectly complement the resort’s extensive water features, including a resort-style pool, splash pool, waterslide and lazy river. These new structures create central gathering points in the amenities area, where guests unwind and relax. The property offers recreational activities beyond the water, including multiple sports courts, a dog park and easy access to fishing and water sports on the Etowah River.
The resort welcomes a diverse range of visitors with 252 accommodation options, offering everything from traditional cabins and camping sites to upscale glamping tents and full RV hookups. This variety attracts all types of guests, from road-weary travelers and outdoor enthusiasts to those seeking a peaceful retreat.
The construction team brought this new tourist destination to life in Bartow County, creating premium amenities to enhance visitors’ experiences for years.
Historic Building Restoration: Olin Agricultural Center
The Womack Commercial team recently completed a transformative restoration of the Olin Agricultural Center in Cartersville, protecting its historic character for future generations. The building began as Stiles Auditorium and holds deep community connections, including a personal tie to the Womack family – Bess Womack’s mother once walked its halls as a student.
The restoration project enhanced the building’s street presence by carefully renovating its defining features. The construction team added new grand white columns on both sides of the structure, which beautifully contrast with the warm red brick façade. They installed new windows throughout, allowing natural light to flood the interior spaces and create a better visitor experience.
This meaningful project goes beyond a simple renovation. It is a testament to Bartow County’s architectural heritage and will continue inspiring future generations.
