General Manager of Traditions of Braselton Realty Bryan Allen is in the studio for today’s episode of Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio. Joined by co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick, the group discusses the lifestyle, amenities and new home opportunities at Traditions of Braselton on today’s All About Real Estate segment of Radio.
Allen has lived in Atlanta for the past 38 years. With a diverse professional career under his belt, Allen has a degree in electrical engineering and is a retired CEO from Convergent Media Systems. After working with the company for 31 years, he sold the business and began working with Traditions of Braselton Realty a few years later. He is also a resident at the Traditions of Braselton community and has been in his current position for the past two years. Allen’s typical responsibilities include overseeing development lots, sales, construction and HOA. In addition, Allen is also the president of the HOA board at Traditions of Braselton and on the Architectural Review board.
Traditions of Braselton is located north of Atlanta and just one exit away from Chateau Elan Winery & Resort. Developed in 2004, the community has around 1,500 homesites with about half already built. Even in the midst of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, the community sold over 120 new construction homes in 2020. Homes at Traditions of Braselton range in price from the low $300,000s up to the high $700,000+. With plenty of options for young families, empty nesters and move-up buyers, Traditions of Braselton has something for everyone! There are currently 18 active builders in the community, offering a wide range of floorplans, prices, interior features, design options and more. Homesites include move-in ready homes as well as lots for custom homes. There are about 90 homes currently under construction with many more to come.
Centrally located in a fantastic North Georgia area, this resort-style community is less than 30 minutes from Athens, Gainesville, Atlanta, the Mall of Georgia and several other metro Atlanta favorites. Current homeowners and future residents of Traditions of Braselton can enjoy the best shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities in downtown Braselton and Jefferson. Blake’s of Braselton, one example of unique local destinations, is a speakeasy-style bar and restaurant, offering outdoor dining, live music, a social atmosphere, VIP benefits for members and more!
In addition, Traditions of Braselton offers one-of-a-kind luxury amenities for residents to enjoy. An 18-hole golf course and club is owned and operated by community members and offers plenty of fun activities, including weekly leagues, bi-monthly events for various age groups and more. In addition, residents enjoy a pro shop and training facility overseen by Jeff Keneko, PGA professional and former instructor at Dave Pelz Golf Schools.
At the center of the community, Traditions of Braselton houses an owner’s clubhouse that recently saw a $1.3 million renovation. Boasting a chef’s kitchen with two industrial-style sub-zero refrigerators, a 75-inch flat-screen television, several tables and chairs, a conference room and a 24-hour fitness center, the clubhouse is perfect for any and all events!
Summers at Traditions of Braselton are never boring at the Junior Olympic swimming pool and splash zone. The newly resurfaced pool deck offers plenty of lounge and shade seating for relaxing on warm summer days. In addition, the pool is adjacent to a fun-filled playground for kids to enjoy.
Staying active is easy at the tennis courts. Traditions of Braselton houses six lighted tennis courts with covered spectator pavilions and stadium seating. A brand-new pickleball court is also available for residents to take advantage of. For a little more competition, consider joining the ALTA league within the community.
Families with children are sure to love the convenient access to local schools. Right next door to Gum Springs Elementary and West Jackson Middle Schools, Traditions of Braselton has a connecting road from the community to the schools, allowing parents to pick up and drop off kids via golf cart.
