Joan Plunkett, advisor of Tossed out Treasures, joins host Todd Schnick and co-host Bryan Nonni on this week’s Around Atlanta edition of the Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio show.

Plunkett works with the Sandy Springs Society to help support Sandy Springs, Georgia and non-profit organizations in the community that promotes the arts, heritage, education, the environment and social services in Sandy Springs, Georgia. The Sandy Springs Society raises money for its grants through fundraisers, corporate and foundation sponsorships, membership dues and other contributions. To date, the society has awarded grants of almost $3 million.

One of Sandy Springs Society’s biggest events of the year is the Tossed out Treasures resale event. This upscale resale event features a large showroom filled with gently used high end home décor, jewelry, silver, crystal, sports equipment, art, furniture, gently-used clothing and much more.

This event will take place starting tonight from 6-9 p.m. This is the preview party for people to come, have a meal and a glass of wine then get an early look at all of the great items for sale. This event will cost $35 at the door. Starting on Friday, Feb. 26, the actual event will begin, doors open at 10 a.m. at 6337 Roswell Rd., one mile north of the Sandy Springs North Shopping Center. On the last day, Saturday, Feb. 27, halfway through the sale all items will be discounted to 50 percent off. This will be the best deal you will get for some of these fabulous items.
