The Atlanta Business Chronicle recently released its list of Atlanta’s Top 20 Home Builders, which highlights the city’s top builders as ranked by the number of homes closed in 2013. It is definitely interesting to see how these builders finished 2013, and it will be more interesting to see changes for 2014!

Crown Communities has jumped two spots to claim the No. 1 position on this year’s list with an outstanding 835 homes closed in 2013. Crown’s impressive numbers have pushed D.R. Horton, the previous No. 1 builder, to the second place spot, with a total of 819 homes sold. However, with D.R. Horton’s recent acquisition of Crown Communities, these two builders should be firmly at number one in 2014 as well. The next closest builder on the list, Ashton Woods Homes Atlanta, closed just 468 homes in 2013.
