sushi at the Kinjo Room

Alex Kinjo of Kinjo Brothers curates concepts that help small businesses achieve their goals. But he doesn’t do it alone. Kinjo has partnered with Edie Weintraub at terra alma multiple times to find the perfect locations for his popular Atlanta sushi restaurants. His latest, the Kinjo Room at The Interlock is an intimate restaurant with only 20 seats. Following the lead of his flagship restaurant, MF Sushi, the Kinjo room has met rave reviews for its sushi, phenomenal cocktails and atmosphere.

“I met Edie five years ago, and since then, we have worked on six or seven projects together. She is efficient and always goes out of her way to help me achieve my goals,” said Alex Kinjo, Designer, Kinjo Brothers. “She is very well-connected and knowledgeable. I rely on her for negotiations and keeping me aware of new opportunities.”

The Kinjo Room at the Interlock“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Alex multiple times, and it is always a treat to watch his creativity bring his vision to reality,” said Edie Weintraub, Founder and Chief Community Builder, terra alma. “His restaurants are among my favorites in Atlanta.”

Alex Kinjo worked with terra alma to curate four Asian food stalls in Chattahoochee Food Works. They include Flying Fish Sushi & Robata Grill, Bahni Mi Station, Sakura Ramen Bar, and Sakura Gift.

Additionally, Kinjo Brothers teamed up with terra alma as it ventured outside the perimeter to bring two innovative new concepts at Avalon – MF Bar and District 3.

What’s coming up for 2023 and beyond for Kinjo Brothers? Well, that is on the down low, but they have some potential new concepts in the pipeline, and they will be working with terra alma to find the perfect spaces.
