terra alma welcomes Lisa McCray as a new Associate. In this capacity, she will apply the knowledge she gained as a business owner with her experience as a residential Realtor to match businesses with spaces and create community.
“I’m pleased to welcome Lisa to our team at terra alma,” said Edie Weintraub, Founder and Chief Community Builder. “Her experience running a business for 12 years helps her to understand our client’s needs from a unique perspective.”
When asked what excites her about working for terra alma, McCray states, “Every day is challenging in a new way.” She continues, “Edie is not just trying to throw a nail salon (or a business) in a building; she is working to create community, a place for people to meet up and socialize.”
A former small business owner, McCray owned and managed a group fitness studio for the past 12 years. Because of this, she understands small business needs and challenges better than the average commercial realtor. She also understands the importance of forging good relationships with clients.
McCray worked as a residential Realtor for four years, and before that, worked as a financial planner for three years.
“I always wanted to get into commercial real estate but hadn’t found the right fit,” said McCray. “I met Edie because our sons swim together, and knew it was the perfect fit.”
Lisa McCray has a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
McCray resides in Smyrna with her husband, two sons and dog, who is her hiking buddy. She enjoys exercise, hiking, reading, and hanging out with friends in her free time.
