Known for its ethnic food diversity, the 4th Annual Taste of Chamblee will bring together local restaurants, arts, live entertainment, kids activities and more for the entire family to enjoy on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.  This one day, outdoor festival is FREE admission and will take place in Downtown Chamblee, Ga. at Peachtree and Broad Streets in front of City Hall (5468 Peachtree Road, Chamblee, Ga. 30341). This is sure to be a popular Atlanta weekend event with many families from various areas of metro Atlanta.

The 2011 Taste of Chamblee feature more than 20 local restaurants serving up their specialties. This event is produced by the Chamblee Business Association in conjunction with the City of Chamblee. Bring some cash with you for food tickets.  Tickets are $1 each and can be used for purchasing sample sized portions of restuarant specialties during the event. Individual samples will cost 1-4 tickets per serving.

The Art Walk will feature local and regional artists offering a variety of unique art including paintings, photography, pottery, graphics, sculptures, jewelry and much more. The Kidz Zone will feature a full array of interactive games and art projects for kids of all ages. The 2011 Taste of Chamblee has expanded to include the Chamblee Sustainability Fair, a festival within the festival, where businesses will showcase sustainable products or services, or provide examples of business practices that contribute to a sustainable way of life.

Grab a table in the Beer Garden and enjoy some of the area’s best live music and entertainment on the Music Stage. The Taste of Chamblee Main Stage is loaded with great talent again this year, as country, rock, and R&B-inspired favorite local acts will offer up a diverse blend of music. Enjoy some of Atlanta best up-and-coming artist, as winners of the 2011 TOC Main Stage contest come on stage. Additionally the event will feature one of Atlanta’s most popular festival bands, Yacht Rock Revue, as the Headliner.
