Like every month, there’s an activity for everyone and something new for all residents to experience. Whether you’re a frequent blood donor or farmer’s market fanatic, these are just a few of the August events that will keep you entertained into the fall season! • Blood Drive, Aug. 4 – Soleil residents will be helping the American Red Cross and people in need by donating blood on Monday, Aug. 4, 2014. There will be a blood mobile at the clubhouse parking lot from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Expressive Watercolor Demonstration, Aug. 13 – Everyone needs time to get their creative juices flowing. Residents will grab their paintbrushes and get ready to let their artistic side show at Soleil’s Expressive Watercolor Demonstration on Wednesday, Aug. 13.
• An After Dinner Affair, Aug, 15 – Soleil’s newest event invites residents to sit down, relax and enjoy the night at Soleil’s An After Dinner Affair. On Friday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m., Atlanta singer Kayla Taylor will perform as residents enjoy jazz music, dessert and wine.
