As a former builder, his expertise has helped us evaluate potential projects and his connections through his current career as a banker have helped us recruit builder captains and potential annual giving partners. He supports our Essentials Drive and facilitates contributions through Quantum National Bank to our Annual Giving Campaign and the SMC Silent Auction to benefit HomeAid. Steve keeps us on track by helping to develop our annual budget and monitoring our monthly spending,” HomeAid Atlanta said.

He dedicates his personal time to being the best brother, father, and husband he can be. King enjoys travel, being right, drinking beer and brewing his own beer at home, which has earned him several awards.
Congratulations to Steve King for winning the esteemed Lewis Cenker Award! Established in 1984, the Lewis Cenker Award is the HBA’s most prestigious award that honors an individual’s lifetime achievements and contributions to the advancement of the housing industry. To symbolize the status of this award, it was named in memory of one of the industry’s icons – Mr. Lewis Cenker, who was President of the Greater Atlanta HBA in 1960 and the only member of the Greater Atlanta HBA to serve as President of the National Association of Home Builders.
