Sterling on the Lake is excited to announce the 9th Annual Harvest Balloon Festival is fast approaching! The family-friendly event will take place on Saturday, October 27, 2018, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Attendees at this year’s festivities will enjoy pumpkin decorating, festival-favorite foods, music, a petting zoo, rock wall climbing and more, with most activities included with the price of admission. Weather permitting, tickets for tethered hot air balloon rides will be available from 5:30 p.m. to sunset on a first come, first served basis.
“The Harvest Balloon Festival is the highlight of the year at Sterling on the Lake,” Jennifer Landers, Vice President of Operations for Newland Communities, master developer of Sterling on the Lake, said. “It offers a fun-filled day to our residents and guests while providing support to two great not-for-profits and sharing why we’re so proud of our beautiful community.”
The Harvest Balloon festival has donated about $210,000 to local nonprofit organizations. With roughly 5,000 attendees expected to attend this year’s event, the proceeds collected from admission fees, balloon rides and ticket sales will support two local not-for-profit groups: Hall County Animal Shelter and Family Promise of Hall County.
Admission is $10 per adult, $5 for children under 5 and children under 2 are free.
Free event parking is available at:
Sterling on the Lake Commercial Property – 6400 Capitola Farm Road, Flowery Branch, Ga 30542
Complimentary shuttle buses will run until 9 p.m. transporting guests to and from the festival.
