Local home builder SR Homes is pleased to announce Rhonda Whitfield as its new Director of Human Resources (HR). In her new role, Whitfield is responsible for developing and implementing organizational human resources policies, programs, and strategies.
Since 2007, Whitfield has worked in varying human resources positions throughout the Atlanta area. Prior to joining the SR Homes team, she served in several HR roles at Turner Broadcasting including the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Coordinator, HR Coordinator and HR Generalist. Whitfield’s previous roles also include serving as the HR Business Partner at CINC Systems and the HR Manager at Experiential Media Group.
Whitfield holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Shorter University and a certificate in Human Resources Management from Kennesaw State University. She is also a Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Dedicated to achieving results and building relationships, Whitfield credits her success to a focus on making an impact through excellent communication and providing solutions to challenges, along with a team player mindset through collaboration and partnership.
