SR Homes has teamed up with HomeAid Atlanta to participate in its 16th Annual HomeAid Essentials Drive. From now through May 8, SR Homes will be collecting “essential” items to help homeless Atlanta babies and their mothers.
Needed essential items include diapers sizes 1 and up, baby food, baby formula and unscented baby wipes. Through May 8, SR Homes will be accepting these essential items at six Atlanta-area communities: Churchill Crossing, Concord Creek, Creekstone Point, Williams Point, Great River and Pebble Creek. Items can be dropped off Monday, Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Wednesday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

An estimated 7,500 people in the Metro Atlanta area are homeless on any given night, and nearly 50 percent of these are women and children. Since 2002, HomeAid Atlanta has assisted hundred of mothers and babies by collaborating with communities to collect almost 900,000 essential baby items.
SR Homes is excited to participate in HomeAid Atlanta’s 16th Annual Essentials Drive, set to officially take place around Mother’s Day. Additional drop-off sites can also be found on HomeAid Atlanta’s list of public collection site drop-off locations.
