Metrostudy recently reported that housing markets across the country are heating up with builders buying lots and subdivisions. This expected to be a trend throughout 2010 as many builders are out or low on inventory and need to start building again. The BIG news for the Atlanta real estate market is that Kolter Homes is buying Levitt and Son’s Seasons of Lake Lanier located in Gainesville, Ga. north of Atlanta.  The purchase includes 169 developed lots, 147 nearly developed lots, 43 finished (or nearly finished) homes, 16 models, and 290 “future” lots.  According to Metrostudy sources, they paid $12 million for the community.
