Come out and celebrate Smyrna’s birthday with a huge celebration and summer concert series at the Village Green. Beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 4 join in all of the festivities with concerts, foods and fireworks! Both Banks & Shane and Smokey’s Farmland Band will take the stage as you enjoy a giant birthday cake from McEntyre’s Bakery, festival foods, activities for the whole family and more!
Missed seeing Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax in theaters or just want to see it again? Head on out to Taylor-Brawner Park on August 18 to watch the story of the trees unfold. The movie will begin at dark, and families are encouraged to carpool because parking is limited.
Other weekly events happening throughout the month include food truck Tuesdays at Taylor-Brawner Park. Enjoy delicious food truck fare for dinner each Tuesday beginning at 6 p.m., but you’ll want to get there early because this event is popular and parking is limited!
