Smith Douglas Homes is excited to introduce three new team members that have joined this fast-growing company over the past eight months. With the builder’s recent expansion into a fifth metro Atlanta county, it currently offers new homes in more than 22 communities! Because of this rapid growth, the company created a position for two sales managers, one to handle each division, as well as a new marketing manager. Together, this team of talented individuals will help Smith Douglas Homes to grow even bigger and better than ever before!
Tina Hughes joined Smith Douglas Homes in February 2014 as a New Home Specialist, and was quickly promoted to East Division Sales Manager in May 2014. As the sales manager of the East division, she serves all of the Realtors representing the builder’s communities in Forsyth, Gwinnett, Hall and Jackson counties.
Tina became a Realtor in 1995, and has since had a nearly 20-year career in the real estate industry. She obtained her broker’s license in 2002 and owned and operated Ivy Hall Realty in Dacula, where she represented the sales efforts of multiple builder groups throughout metro Atlanta. The team became affiliated with Century 21 in 2007, and it continuously received the prestigious Century 21 Customer Service Award. Before coming to Smith Douglas, Tina also served as the Managing Broker of Clickit Realty in Snellville.
Kim Henderson, the new West Division Sales Manager, manages all of Smith Douglas’ communities in Cherokee and Paulding counties. Kim has 19 years of experience in new home sales as an agent and in management roles, and she was in corporate sales for 16 years before joining the real estate industry.
During her time in real estate, Kim has worked with a wide variety of home types ranging from $90,000 to $3 million price points for a local and custom builder, as well as three national builders. She also won numerous top producer awards from various companies.
Most recently, Kim became a qualifying broker for the new SDC Realty company after joining the Smith Douglas team as Sales Manager in November 2013. She is honored to be a part of such a dynamic, forward-thinking and fast-growing company.
Dusty Talbert comes to Smith Douglas with four solid years of experience in the homebuilding industry. Dusty previously worked for Beazer Homes, a top 10 national builder, where he was a jack-of-all-trades who primarily focused on creative development, email marketing and marketing automation software systems that helped to save the company $240,000 in their annual budget. Dusty was also a key support contact for the Regional Marketing Managers, implementing marketing strategies for various communities nationwide.
Now, as a Marketing Manager, Dusty is taking over the marketing efforts for the West Division, which consists of both Cherokee and Paulding counties.
