Smith Douglas Homes has surpassed a number of impressive milestones this year, making 2014 a year of tremendous success. With an unprecedented amount of growth seen so far, these final few weeks of 2014 are sure to include even more accomplishments and successes.

Founded in 2008, Smith Douglas Homes aims to provide homebuyers with lower pricing, more square footage and better quality than any similar home in the metro Atlanta real estate market. This year, the builder underwent a massive rebranding, changing its name from Smith Douglas Communities to Smith Douglas Homes, which better represents its primary responsibility of being a homebuilder.

Shortly after rebranding, Smith Douglas Homes moved its office to the ever-popular Highway 92 corridor in Woodstock. Offering nearly five times the office space than the previous location, Smith Douglas Homes now has 42 employees, 11 more than it had at the beginning of 2014. The new corporate office also gave SDC Realty a place to call home, as the team now has its own office just next door. Launched in March of this year, SDC Realty now has 21 employees that exclusively market the new home listings from Smith Douglas Homes.

As a testament to its success, the metro Atlanta homebuilder recently closed on its 400th home in 2014, and it expects to close a total of 475 homes this year. This number far surpasses the approximately 300 homes the builder closed in 2013! The builder also opened its very first community in Hall County earlier this year, and it plans to open its first community in Bartow County before the end of 2014. With these additions, Smith Douglas Homes now builds new homes in more than 25 communities in Bartow, Paulding, Cherokee, Forsyth, Gwinnett and Hall counties.

With approximately five or six new communities coming in the next few months, Smith Douglas expects its growth spurt to continue far into 2015 and beyond. To learn more about the many new home communities in metro Atlanta from Smith Douglas Homes, visit www.SmithDouglas.com.
