There’s no better way to celebrate the wonders of fall after a long summer spent inside than to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air, cool weather and wide open spaces. Once outside, you’ll find many inviting adventures. However, the most exciting is the free Harvest Balloon Festival hosted by Sterling on the Lake in Flowery Branch.

On Oct. 16 and 17, attendees can enjoy all of the festival’s delights. Take a balloon ride, compete in a race, carve your own Halloween pumpkin, take a hayride or participate in the costume parade. Don’t forget to check out the Saturday night concert and food vendors complete with carnival sweets and a bake sell. Guests will even have the opportunity to explore the new homes and models at Sterling on the Lake. What ever fall activity you like to do, you’ll find it at the Harvest Balloon Festival.

Admission to the festival is free. However, proceeds generated from guest purchases and parking fees will benefit the National Military Family Association and the Challenged Child and Friends organization, and will be donated through Sterling on the Lake’s not-for-profit community support organization, Sterling Life.
