FirstServices Residential to take care of details so residents can focus on living
When Seven88 West Midtown opens in the fall of 2020, the community’s on-site concierge service promises to make life for the 300-plus residents a little bit easier as they handle the details of everyday living. FirstService Residential, North America’s premier provider of residential concierge services, will help restaurant reservations and event tickets, as well as provide a full slate of on-site services from accepting deliveries to hosting community events to making sure both the car and the dog are washed.

The concierge services are initially focused at the front desk, where professional staff members can help manage everyday needs of residents, such as directing deliveries into smart storage lockers, including cold storage; arranging for reservations or event tickets, often with discounts; handling dry cleaning; and arranging for car detailing. The concierge desk will even keep a vendor list for in-home services, vetting potential providers so residents are assured of cost effective and trustworthy vendors working within their homes.
FirstService Residential staff members will also plan regular social functions for residents, such as chef’s gourmet cooking demonstrations in the community kitchen, a Hawaiian luau at the saltwater pool, or wine and cheese events in the clubroom. Residents can participate in community service projects, too, including a 9/11 stair climb; food, clothing and toy drives; or a shoe and sock collection to benefit the homeless. Quarterly financial planning seminars will help residents stay on track with their personal goals.
Concierge services will extend throughout the development, as staff members keep the common areas stocked, clean and ready for use. For example, staff members will maintain a pet station with doggy bags, treats and supplies, and assist in arranging onsite dog grooming. In the summer, a pool attendant will manage the pool area and towel service. Bike storage, private events in the clubroom, and general storage rentals are other conveniences the concierge service will handle.
As part of its property management services, FirstService Residential will establish a rental pool for investors in Seven88 Midtown West. The program includes listing, managing properties and handling payments for regular rentals.
