Serenbe, a unique new development under construction in Chattahoochee Hills, features a collection of communities, each with its own commercial center aimed to bring its residents a balanced life. From culture and wellness provided through community gardens and art galleries and entertainment provided by the Serenbe Playhouse, to fitness available to all within the walkable community and various nature trails, Serenbe is sure to be popular with those looking for a way to blend quality of life with exquisite architecture and design. Now, the community prepares to welcome visitors and potential buyers into the fold as it hosts the 2015 Serenbe Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Designer Showhouse.
The Showhouse is a French Creole-style lakefront home in the Grange area of Serenbe. The home will be open for touring Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 11 through Oct. 4. Visitors of the Showhouse will receive a tour of the lowcountry-style home designed by James P. Curran and constructed by Monte Hewett Homes. The 3,700-square-foot home has fixtures and finishes chosen by Monte Hewett Homes Director of Interior Design, Michael C. Morris. Additional interior designers collaborated to style the furnishings for the home.
The home features a timber frame, a broad wood-shake shingle roof and French doors that lead to a large back porch with beautiful views of Grange Lake. The exquisitely designed home includes luxurious details, such as SubZero appliances in the kitchenette, Thermador appliances in the kitchen, a honed marble kitchen island, polished nickel plumbing fixtures in the kitchen, master bathroom and kitchenette. Other features include reclaimed wood mosaic tile in the powder room; marble and quartz countertops in the bathrooms; farm sinks in the master bathroom; a custom designed lighting package; reclaimed, custom stained, engineered hardwood floors from a local mill throughout the home; a handmade ceramic metallic subway tile backsplash in kitchen; custom cabinetry throughout the home and much more.
Interested parties wishing to visit the Showhouse can purchase entry tickets for $20 on the Serenbe website. Proceeds from the designer Showhouse will directly benefit The Art Farm at Serenbe. The Showhouse is sponsored by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, ROHL, Lexus, Bosch, Monte Hewett Homes, ADAC and Serenbe Real Estate.
