Jennifer Landers, vice president of operations at Newland Communities, joins host Todd Schnick and co-host Carol Morgan on the All About Real Estate edition of Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio.
Landers, a seasoned real estate veteran, works with Newland Communities’ many master-planned communities around Atlanta, most currently at Sterling on the Lake, located in Flowery Branch near Lake Lanier Islands, Chateau Élan and Mall of Georgia.
Construction in Sterling on the Lake is approaching the halfway mark of their assembly of 2,000 homes, ranging from the $200,000s to the $700,000s. “I guess the question is, what amenities DON’T you have,” joked Schnick. “That answer will take about two seconds.”
Sterling on the Lake also hosts a variety of events at their facilities such as the annual “Splash Bash” in May. The DJ keeps the party going with music, trivia, limbo and other interactive games at this yearly cookout celebrating the opening of their pools.
Other events include the Fireworks Festival in July, the Harvest Balloon Festival in the fall, fishing tournaments, an annual golf tournament, pet clinics, recycling initiatives and concerts at the community park that are open to the public and the surrounding communities.
