For one weekend, 90-plus of the best restaurants in Atlanta will be dishing out samples of their culinary creations. However, the festival is about more than just sampling, attendees will also have the opportunity to watch demonstrations on four live cooking stages, meet with well known food-related authors at Barnes & Noble, watch the barcraft competition, participate in a hands-on cooking experience in The Kitchen Workshop, take a peek inside The Food Studio with Tom Sullivan, learn how to make the most of your Big Green Egg, bid in the silent auction benefiting Cooking Matters and interact in the Food Family Zone.
One of the most highly anticipated events of the festival is the Taste Revival: Local Chefs, Smokin’ Jams, which will kick off the weekend with incredible food and rockin’ music in a massive block party benefiting Georgia Organics on Friday, October 25 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Listen to the sounds of Southern rock music from Parker Smith and the Bandwidth as you enjoy dishes from local celebrity chefs that are inspired by their favorite songs and bands.
General admission tickets for the Taste Revival are $70 with VIP tickets costing $95. One-day tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door, and VIP tickets are $75 in advance and $85 at the door. The VIP experience is available to only those 21 and up, and includes 10 taste coupons and admission into the VIP Wine+Beer+Cocktail experience, as well as a piece of commemorative glassware.
