Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Peggy Slappey Properties for winning a Gold OBIE in the Best Consumer Direct Mail Program category for its “Our Homes are Flashy” campaign for Richardson Housing Group. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.

Peggy Slappey Properties wanted to provide consumers with information on all of Richardson Housing Group’s properties even if visitors toured just one community. To do this, the team created a flash drive with information on each community, builder links and information particular to each buyer visiting the community. In combination with a traditional flyer, the campaign drove more traffic to all of Richardson’s communities. Sales have increased 10 percent and traffic has jumped 15 percent.

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s OBIE Awards celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2015. The awards began in 1980 and have grown throughout the years to include more than 100 building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement categories.
