Keith Daniel, chief operating officer for Paran Homes, sat down with hosts Todd Schnick and Carol Morgan for this week’s All About Real Estate segment of the Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio Show.

Recently, Duluth-based homebuilder Paran Homes had some excitement in their Dallas, Georgia community at Oakleigh Pointe: the popular FOX competition reality series, Home Free, filmed its latest season there.

Daniel explained the premise of Home Free on the FOX network, is building homes for heroes.

Hosted by Tim Tebow, contestants on the show renovate homes, under the watchful eye of trained professionals, in order to win a brand new home for a personal hero in their life. The twist is, that when a contestant gets eliminated, their hero wins a home anyway. The longer a contestant stays in the game, the bigger and more feature-filled house the personal hero wins.

FOX chose to film at Oakleigh Pointe because of its quiet location and the great quality of Paran Homes. The second season finale premiered on August 4, but both seasons are available to stream on many alternative forums, such as FOXNow, Xfinity OnDemand and Amazon Video.

While filming reality shows is exciting, Paran Homes’ main focus is creating family-centered communities. Paran Homes builds in several locations in and around Atlanta, as well as in Chattanooga and Nashville, Tennessee and Raleigh, North Carolina.

Homes at Oakleigh Pointe range from the low $200,000s with a variety of ranch, two-story and owner’s suite on main floor plans. Residents enjoy a variety resort-style amenities with an Olympic sized swimming pool with water slide, tennis courts, fire pit, playground, and a dog park for your furry family members!

Be sure to take a look at Paran Homes on Home Free and it might be worth your while to tell your friends – they offer a friends and family referral program pays $1,000 as incentive. Other current promotions include $6,000 in designer upgrades and $5,000 towards closing costs.
