7th Annual Owl-O-Ween Hot Air Balloon Festival Returns Next Weekend

Autumn is synonymous with fall festivals and the Owl-O-Ween Hot Air Balloon Festival has become a crowd favorite! Director of Operations Joe Kopitz with Kennesaw State University’s Department of Event and Venue Management joins co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick to discuss this year’s upcoming festivities on this week’s Around Atlanta segment of Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio.

Presented by Zaxby’s, the 7th Annual Owl-O-Ween Hot Air Balloon Festival returns Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19 to the Kennesaw State University Sports and Entertainment Park. From 6 to 11 p.m. on Friday and 4 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, attendees will enjoy hot air balloons, multiple entertainment stages, balloon glows, tethered balloon rides, a silent disco, craft beer garden, costume contests and free activities for the kids.

As night falls, hot air balloons illuminate the event’s backdrop for a visually stunning fall event. Entertainment can be found throughout with more than 120 performing artists, a Costume Catwalk Party, sports bar and more. A separate area for kids features the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Kids Stage with kids’ bands, dance performances, interactive shows and free activities to include inflatables and crafts.

Tickets for the event are available for purchase in advance, but a limited number of tethered hot air balloon ride tickets are only available for purchase the day of the event for $15 – so arrive early! Tickets for children ages 3 to 12 are $6, general admission for children 13 and older and adults are $14 and VIP tickets are $49 for children and $79 for adults.

The Kennesaw State University Sports and Entertainment Park is located at 3200 George Busbee Parkway in Kennesaw. See the full event map here. To learn more and purchase tickets, visit www.Owl-O-Ween.com.
